Ringnet Wins 16 Billion KRW Army LAN Replacement Project, Proving Competitiveness in Public Digital Infrastructure

Ringnet, an IT infrastructure specialist company, announced on July 7 that it has recently secured a successful contract for the Army LAN replacement project under the Ministry of National Defense, with a total project cost of 16 billion KRW. This project involves a complete overhaul of the Army's aging network infrastructure, replacing it with the latest digital equipment. The focus is on implementing a redundant design and a high-availability environment to maximize operational efficiency and stability.

This contract follows Ringnet's previous achievements in communication projects within the information sector of the Ministry of National Defense. Ringnet participated in the project as part of a consortium with its business partners, securing the contract based on its technological leadership and reliability. The company explained that it was especially recognized for its integrated project execution capabilities, covering the entire project cycle from initial design and equipment installation to ongoing maintenance, all supported by its nationwide branch network.

Through this project, Ringnet has secured a stable revenue base in the public sector and increased the likelihood of winning additional related projects. The company also plans to accelerate the development of high value-added solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and SDN-based managed services.
