Large-Scale Fur "Pre-Order" in July at Main and Gangnam Branches
Number of Styles Including Vests, Short Coats, and Long Coats Tripled
Shinsegae Department Store announced on July 7 that it will hold a large-scale fur "pre-order" event throughout July at 11 stores nationwide, including the Main Branch and Gangnam Branch.

A total of 19 brands, including Kuho, Dellalana, Dongwoo, Sabatie, and Jindo, will participate in this event. The number of styles offered per brand has been expanded to about 150, three times more than last year, marking the largest scale ever.
The pre-order system allows customers to secure new winter season items and limited-edition furs in advance during the summer, and purchase them at prices 10?20% lower than the regular price.
Premium furs made from materials with limited supply, such as Russian sable, often sell out quickly once the season begins. As a result, pre-ordering has emerged as the most reliable way to secure the desired product. For brands, pre-orders not only help expand sales channels but also enable flexible inventory management by allowing them to predict demand. It is a win-win for both customers and brands.
In fact, during the main pre-order period from June to August, Shinsegae Department Store's fur sales have continued to grow for three consecutive years, increasing by 24% in 2022, 56% in 2023, and surging by 147% in 2024.
This pre-order event will be held at various locations, including Sabatie at the Gangnam Branch (July 8?13), Dellalana (July 18?27), Kuho at the Main Branch (July 16?27), Sabatie (July 22?27), Jindo Fur at the Hanam Branch (July 25?31, 1st floor event hall), and DS Fur at South City (July 21?27).
Representative pre-order items include short vests made from high-end fur material "sable." These items are lightweight and highly insulating, making them suitable for use from the transitional seasons through early winter.
In addition to the pre-order event, Shinsegae plans to hold a special discount event in the second half of this year, focusing on products certified with the global animal welfare mark "Furmark(R)." Shinsegae aims to align with the trend of value-driven consumption, as interest in sustainability and ethical consumption continues to rise.
