Sungshin Women's University received an email warning of a bomb attack, prompting police to launch an emergency search.
On July 7, the Seongbuk Police Station in Seoul received a report at approximately 12:25 p.m. from a university staff member, stating that an email had arrived claiming dynamite had been planted on campus.
The police deployed a special operations unit and are searching the campus to determine whether any explosives have been installed.
According to the Sungshin Women's University Student Council, all classes have been canceled and all members of the university community have been instructed to return home.
