Participant Recruitment Begins on July 7
On July 7, MBN announced that it has begun recruiting participants for the global baking audition program 'Cheonhajeppang' (subtitle: Bake Your Dream).
'Cheonhajeppang' is a global survival program planned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of MBN's founding. It is a baking competition featuring 100 skilled bakers from Korea and abroad. Master bakers from across the country, local bakery experts, and home baking enthusiasts will compete for the final victory.
MBN stated, "Anyone who loves bread can apply," and explained, "We are looking for the strongest baker to take on the world stage."
The final winner will be given the opportunity to launch a new product in collaboration with a bakery company, as well as the chance to open a bakery shop with their own concept. In addition, support will be provided for activities as an owner-patissier, participation in spin-off and follow-up programs for overseas expansion, and more.
Applications can be submitted from July 7 via the MBN website or a dedicated QR code. 'Cheonhajeppang' is scheduled to air for the first time in the second half of this year.
