"Transferred to Police General Hospital in Bangkok... Autopsy Scheduled"
A Korean man died after falling from a hotel near Pattaya Beach in Thailand, prompting local police to launch an investigation.
According to the Bangkok Post on July 7 (local time), the incident occurred at around 10 p.m. the previous day. Hotel security guard Ruangdet Chomphuthip, 47, reportedly told police that he heard a loud thud, as if something had fallen to the ground.
Upon checking immediately, he discovered the body of a man beneath the hotel building. According to Pattaya police, the deceased was a 70-year-old Korean man who was staying in a fifth-floor room of the building at the time of the incident.
Police are currently investigating to determine the exact cause of death, the location from which the man fell, and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The body has been transferred to the Police General Hospital in Bangkok for an autopsy to clarify the precise cause of death.
