KB Financial Group announced on July 7 that it will consolidate the senior business capabilities of its affiliates and expand its business through the senior-focused brand 'KB Golden Life'.

KB Financial Group Unites Affiliates' Senior Businesses... Expands with 'KB Golden Life'

The core of this initiative is to establish a senior business collaboration model by integrating group-level capabilities in customer management, products and services, and channels into 'KB Golden Life', which was launched in 2012.

As part of this, the group has established a senior business strategy and created a dedicated organization for senior customers called the 'Golden Life Department' within KB Kookmin Bank to develop specialized services.

In addition, the group will expand the number of 'KB Golden Life Centers', dedicated consulting centers for seniors, from the current five centers mainly in the Seoul metropolitan area to twelve centers nationwide, including a bank-insurance collaboration model. The goal is to allow any senior customer to visit a 'KB Golden Life Center' and access a 'senior total care solution', which covers retirement planning, old-age planning, health management, dementia and nursing care consultations, as well as inheritance and gift consultations.

The 'KB Golden Life' product lineup will also be diversified to fit each stage of the life cycle. KB Kookmin Bank is strengthening its lineup of gift-related products and is preparing to launch the 'KB Golden Life Gift Consultation and Reporting Service', which will offer one-stop services for gift tax reduction consultations and handling complex reporting procedures.

KB Insurance has launched the 'KB Golden Care Nursing Insurance', which strengthens coverage for early-stage dementia treatment and nursing care in response to growing medical and nursing care needs. KB Life Insurance, through its specialized subsidiary KB Golden Life Care, provides day and night care centers, premium nursing facilities, and senior housing.

The group is also strengthening its lineup of products closely tied to the daily lives of senior customers. KB Kookmin Bank's budget phone service, KB Liiv Mobile, has launched the 'Kookmin Senior 11/14' plan, the first in the telecommunications industry to lower the minimum subscription age from 65 to 60 for a senior-exclusive plan. KB Kookmin Card plans to expand its range of products tailored to senior lifestyle consumption patterns, including the 'KB Golden Life Allim Card'.

KB Financial Group is also working to enhance the expertise of its dedicated staff providing senior total care solutions. The group plans to operate cross-training programs for senior-dedicated personnel at KB Kookmin Bank, KB Securities, and KB Life Insurance. In addition, a certification program based on industry-academia cooperation with universities is being prepared.

A KB Financial Group representative said, "Based on the know-how accumulated through KB Golden Life, we will strengthen our 'senior total care solution' services by adding non-financial services such as health, nursing care, medical services, travel, and shopping to our financial services, covering the entire life of our senior customers. Going forward, KB Financial Group will continue to prioritize enhancing customer value and faithfully fulfill its role as a lifelong financial partner for senior customers."
