Jeonnam Hampyeong County recently announced on July 7 that it was selected as an excellent institution for three consecutive years at the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "2025 Local Government Health Promotion Project Performance Competition," and received a commendation.

The evaluation was conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, which comprehensively reviewed the operational performance of health promotion projects and the achievement of key performance indicators by 16 metropolitan cities and provinces and 254 local governments nationwide.

Hampyeong County received high marks in the evaluation for its successful implementation of an integrated health promotion project. This project systematically operated a variety of health promotion programs, centered on personalized health management through its mobile healthcare initiative.

With this award, Hampyeong County has been selected as an excellent institution in the local government health promotion project for three consecutive years since the COVID-19 pandemic. This achievement is recognized as the result of continuous efforts to improve the health and quality of life of local residents.

Lee Sangik, the governor of Hampyeong County, stated, "We will continue to discover and operate various programs to promote the health of our residents," and added, "We will further strengthen our customized integrated health management projects that reflect the unique characteristics of our region to build a healthier Hampyeong."
