Hwaseong SMEs Achieve 42 Consultations and 3 Contracts at Vietnam Machinery Exhibition

Six Companies from Hwaseong Participate in Exhibition

Six small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, achieved a total of 42 business consultations and secured 3 contracts in Vietnam.

On July 7, Hwaseong City announced that it had successfully concluded its group booth support program at the '2025 Vietnam MTA Machinery Exhibition (MTA VIETNAM 2025)', which was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from July 2 to July 5.

This exhibition is the largest machinery and tools exhibition in Vietnam, featuring machinery and related parts such as metal cutting and metal forming machines, cutting tools, and alloy components.

The city has operated a group booth at this exhibition for four consecutive years since 2022.

This year, six SMEs from Hwaseong participated in the exhibition, achieving 42 export consultations. In particular, Hanbo Elect, a company specializing in stand-type smart farm cultivation systems, signed three export contracts during the event. Hanseong Hanaron, which handles foam insulation materials, signed four Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for technology development. Changyoung Industry, which deals in copper alloy parts, signed one MOU.

Lim Heungsoon, CEO of Hanbo Elect, said, "After continuously communicating with buyers I met at last year's exhibition, we were able to sign an MOU for exports this year. Participating in the exhibition has helped increase our brand awareness in the local market and has been highly effective for marketing, which has greatly contributed to securing sales channels."

Meanwhile, Hwaseong City is supporting local SMEs in developing overseas markets through various initiatives, including support for participation in overseas exhibitions, organizing market development delegations, and hosting domestic export consultation meetings.
