The selected schools are required to carry out three core tasks: strengthening basic math competency and confidence, activating student-centered learning, and fostering a research culture among teachers. In addition, each school may implement its own autonomous projects tailored to its unique characteristics.

Efforts to strengthen basic math competency include pre-assessments at math clinics, AI-based learning programs, hands-on learning with teaching aids, mentoring, and after-school programs. Student-centered activities encompass operating math clubs, inquiry-based lessons using software, and organizing in-school math events. Teacher professional development will be promoted through teacher clubs, training sessions, and sharing of teaching practices.

A representative from the Creative Convergence Education Center stated, "We expect each school to develop creative and effective models for math education," adding, "We will strive to create a school culture where math is enjoyable by reflecting feedback from the field."
