National Gwangju Science Museum and 21 Institutions
Join Forces for the Honam Region Science Museum Stamp Tour
Commemorative Gifts for Visitors Who Collect Six Stamps
Event Runs Until March 31 Next Year
The National Gwangju Science Museum, together with 21 member institutions of the Honam Region Science Museum Council, is hosting the 'Honam Region Science Museum Stamp Tour' from July 1 of this year until March 31 of next year. This event has been organized to strengthen cooperation among local science and culture institutions and to provide visitors with new experiential opportunities.
Visitors who wish to participate can pick up a stamp tour booklet available at the science museums and collect stamps by visiting science museums within the Honam region, including Jeju Island. Participants who collect stamps from six out of the 22 participating institutions will receive a commemorative gift at the information desk of the National Gwangju Science Museum. The commemorative gifts are limited to 500 in quantity and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Science museums from the Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeju regions, including national, public, and private institutions, are all participating. The National Gwangju Science Museum expects that this tour will encourage more family visitors and increase interest in the region's science and culture infrastructure. Yoon Wonchan, a researcher from the Public Relations and Cooperation Office, said, "We have prepared this event so that visitors of various age groups can participate," and encouraged exploration of science museums in the Honam region.
