SK Telecom announced that the newly added 'Note' feature in its artificial intelligence (AI) service 'A.Dot (A.)' surpassed 300,000 cumulative users within just one week of its launch.

According to SKT, as of July 7, the cumulative number of users for the A.Dot 'Note', which was introduced as a beta version on June 30, has exceeded 300,000. 'Note' is an AI-based recording service that recognizes users' voices in real time, automatically transcribes conversations, and summarizes the content.

In particular, the feature that allows users to choose one of three templates?summary, meeting minutes, or lecture notes?and have the AI organize the content according to the selected purpose is drawing attention. The service also provides a real-time summary function, enabling users to easily revisit any missed content during meetings or lectures.

According to SKT's analysis of usage data, the main usage times for the Note service were from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m., with users in their 30s and 40s accounting for more than half of the total. Usage via the mobile app (iOS and Android) accounted for 80%, while the remaining 20% accessed the service through the PC web version.

Actual users have shared feedback such as, "I used to lose focus during meetings because I was busy taking notes, but now that the AI organizes everything for me, my work efficiency has improved," and "During interview practice, I can check in real time where I stuttered, and the organized content is useful for self-feedback."

Additionally, users have requested feature improvements such as expanding the templates, supporting foreign languages, and extending recording time. SKT plans to incorporate these requests and officially launch the full version in the second half of this year.
