Building an AI Agent-Based Organizational Culture
Operating Programs to Enhance Team Capabilities
Toss announced on July 7 that it has introduced the ChatGPT paid account 'Enterprise Plan License' in order to expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) across the entire organization.
Toss team members can now immediately use a paid ChatGPT account simply by logging in with their work email, without having to submit separate purchase requests. This has created an opportunity to further advance an AI agent-centered work environment.
An AI agent is a system based on a large language model (LLM) that independently determines and performs the tasks necessary to achieve a given goal.
Toss has established an organization-wide support system to help team members use ChatGPT effectively in their work. A dedicated support channel is operated at all times to respond quickly to questions or security inquiries that arise during ChatGPT use.
In addition, Toss is running an 'LLM Workshop' program to enable team members to utilize AI in more advanced ways. If a team has a problem they want to solve using AI, in-house LLM experts participate to propose applicable use cases and design specific implementation methods. Through this, team members are supported in developing the ability to connect AI to tangible business outcomes.
From a security perspective, Toss has also established systematic guidelines and technical control mechanisms. The ChatGPT 'Enterprise Plan' introduced by Toss does not use user input information for training purposes. It is designed with robust and detailed access management and monitoring features to ensure safer use of AI.
In addition, the input of sensitive information such as source code, infrastructure details, customer personal information, and API keys is strictly prohibited. If such input is detected, it is automatically identified in real time and the relevant team member must immediately go through a reason confirmation process.
Direct integration between the Toss application or Toss team members' internally network-separated systems and ChatGPT is prohibited. Only items designated as innovative financial services by the Financial Services Commission are permitted. Currently, 14 types of integration are allowed, including automatic code documentation, ad content review, multilingual translation, and product category prediction.
A Toss representative stated, "The introduction of paid ChatGPT accounts marks a turning point toward becoming an AI-first organization," adding, "We plan to establish execution strategies to accelerate innovation by leveraging AI agents."
