"Vietnam as a Foothold"... BEXCO Sets Sail for the Global Market

Success of the 17th Entec Vietnam Demonstrates Overseas Exhibition Capabilities
Collaboration with Local Exhibition and Convention Centers Planned for the Second Half of the Year

BEXCO has entered the global exhibition market, using Vietnam as a strategic foothold.

Based on its experience operating local exhibitions, BEXCO plans to expand cooperation with major Vietnamese exhibition organizations and organizers, while also strengthening related exhibition content focused on industrial cooperation between the two countries.

BEXCO recently concluded the "2025 Vietnam Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition (Entec Vietnam)," which was held in Hanoi, Vietnam from June 25 to 27. Now in its 17th year, this exhibition is a specialized event in the environmental and energy sectors. A total of 206 companies from five countries, including Korea, participated, resulting in over 500 on-site export consultations, consultation amounts totaling $230 million, and $78 million in contracts being pursued.

Building on these achievements, BEXCO plans to further strengthen its position in the Vietnamese exhibition market. In the second half of the year, BEXCO will co-host "CLEANFACT & RHVAC VIETNAM 2025," which focuses on cleanroom, advanced factory equipment, and refrigeration and air conditioning industries, as well as "VINAMAC EXPO 2025," which is related to machinery and equipment, to expand export channels for Korean industries.

BEXCO will share operational expertise and build a collaborative network with the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), the hub of Vietnam’s exhibition and convention industry. In addition, BEXCO aims to expand its exhibition business throughout the ASEAN region by collaborating with local organizers such as Uninet Exhibition from Singapore and Eims from Vietnam.

The trend of industrial cooperation between the two countries is also supporting BEXCO’s overseas exhibition strategy. Recently, Vietnam has become Korea’s largest destination for foreign investment and its third-largest trading partner, with Korean exports to Vietnam rising for 17 consecutive months. In the energy sector, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), the Vietnamese government, and state-owned enterprises are cooperating to expand nuclear power projects.

In line with these industrial trends, BEXCO aims to strengthen its own exhibitions such as the "International Nuclear Energy Industry Exhibition" and establish itself as a platform that contributes to new energy industry cooperation between the two countries.

Son Suduk, CEO of BEXCO, said, "Based on the achievements of this exhibition in Vietnam, we will expand BEXCO’s exhibition capabilities beyond Southeast Asia to the entire Asian region," adding, "We will focus our efforts on serving as a strategic base so that exhibitions can become a stepping stone for industrial cooperation."
