Targeting the Global SUV Tire Market
On July 7, Hankook Tire & Technology announced that it will introduce the comfort all-season tire 'Dynapro HP3', part of its SUV-dedicated tire brand 'Dynapro', to global markets including the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Central and South America.
The Dynapro HP3, which was launched in the domestic market in March, has been enhanced across all performance areas, including improved ride comfort, year-round driving stability, and tire lifespan.
In particular, the tire optimizes the contact area with the road surface and evenly distributes contact pressure even under heavy loads, significantly reducing abnormal wear. Compared to previous in-house models, the lifespan has been extended by up to 5%, offering greater economic value.
The horizontal grooves on the tire surface have been widened and the density of microgrooves increased, improving dry road handling by 4%. In addition, a sophisticated pattern design has been applied to deliver performance suitable for all seasons and to enhance braking power.
By incorporating Hankook Tire's patented noise-reducing pattern technology known as 'E-shaped knurling', noise levels have been reduced by up to 2.5dB compared to previous in-house models. The shock-absorbing pattern design also helps to further reduce road noise.
