Promotional Booth at the '2025 Korea International Tourism Fair' from July 18 to 21

Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province is taking proactive steps to attract summer tourists by recruiting participants for the second round of the 'One Month Travel in Yangsan' program and operating a promotional booth at the '2025 Korea International Tourism Fair.'

From July 10 to July 20, Yangsan City will recruit participants for the second round of the 'One Month Travel in Yangsan' program. Eligible applicants must be residents outside of South Gyeongsang Province, aged 19 or older, who can stay in Yangsan for a minimum of 5 days and up to 30 days between August 1 and September 30. Participants are expected to travel freely in Yangsan and promote their experiences on their personal social media accounts. Applications can be submitted via the Gyeongnam Baro Service website, email, or mail.

Selected participants will receive support for accommodation costs (70,000 KRW per day), experience activity expenses (70,000 to 100,000 KRW per person), and insurance fees (20,000 KRW per person), all within actual cost limits.

In addition, from July 18 to July 21, the city will participate in the '2025 Korea International Tourism Fair' held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province. Yangsan will operate a promotional booth themed around the '2026 Year of Visiting Yangsan,' showcasing major summer tourist attractions and a variety of tourism content.

The promotional booth will feature promotions for key tourist sites such as Tongdosa Temple, Hwangsan Park, and Naewonsa Valley; a 'Yangsan Friends' tattoo sticker experience zone; introductions to the mobile stamp tour and the 'One Month Travel' program. The city also plans to enhance awareness of Yangsan tourism by hosting events that provide visitors with Yangsan tourism character souvenirs and promotional items.

A city official stated, "We plan to showcase Yangsan's nature, history, and unique atmosphere through various means, including stay-type tourism programs and participation in expos," adding, "Ahead of the 2026 Year of Visiting Yangsan, we will continue to implement multifaceted promotional strategies to establish Yangsan's distinctive image as a tourism city."

In June, Yangsan City operated promotional booths at the 'Ungsang Hoeya Festival' and at the 'Gyeongnam Tourism Promotion Road Campaign' held in Seoul, continuing its efforts in diverse on-site marketing activities.
