"Assemble Lego Bricks with Touch Screen"... Samsung and Lego Korea to Open Experience Space

Premium Home Projector for Hobbies and Learning
Touch-Based Operation Enables Interactive Experiences
Joint Promotion Launched Through Samsung and Lego Korea Collaboration

Samsung Electronics is partnering with global toy brand Lego Korea to introduce a unique experience space.

On July 7, Samsung Electronics announced that, in collaboration with Lego Korea, it will operate a special experience space where visitors can assemble Lego bricks using 'The Premiere 5' projector equipped with a touch screen, until December 31.

Visitors can experience assembling Lego bricks by using The Premiere 5 and a smartphone with the 'Lego Builder' app installed. By mirroring the smartphone screen running the Lego Builder app onto The Premiere 5 and projecting it onto a table, users can directly turn the projected instruction pages and zoom in or out via touch, making it possible to assemble Lego bricks interactively.

Launched in April, The Premiere 5 is a premium home projector equipped with triple laser technology and ultra-short throw capability, able to project up to a 100-inch screen from just about 43 cm away from the wall. When used with a dedicated stand accessory that secures the projector, touch-based operation is enabled through an infrared camera and infrared laser module, making it easier and more engaging to enjoy activities such as gaming, drawing, and educational content.

The Premiere 5 experience space will sequentially open at six locations, starting with the Lego Store at Lotte Department Store Jamsil on July 3, followed by Lotte World Mall Jamsil on July 4, Lotte Department Store Gimpo on July 7, Hyundai Department Store Pangyo on July 8, Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam on July 10, and Hyundai Department Store Mokdong on July 10.

To commemorate this collaboration, Samsung Electronics and Lego Korea have prepared a joint promotion. Customers who purchase The Premiere 5 at a Samsung Store and then visit a designated nearby Lego Store will receive a 'Lego Start Bag.' Additionally, customers who make a purchase at a Lego Store and bring their receipt to a designated Samsung Store will receive a 5% discount on The Premiere 5.

Kang Jinseon, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "We have created this collaborative space with Lego Korea so that consumers can easily and enjoyably experience the touch screen function of The Premiere 5 and foster their creativity," adding, "We hope this experience zone will offer consumers a special kind of enjoyment." Further details about the experience program and promotion can be found on Samsung.com and the official Lego Korea social media channels.
