Monday, July 7 marks Soseo, a seasonal division that signals the start of the full-fledged summer heat, and most regions across the country will continue to experience sweltering temperatures and tropical nights.
The maximum perceived temperature will generally rise above 33 degrees Celsius, and some areas in Gyeonggi Province, Chungcheong region, southern regions, and eastern Jeju Island will experience extremely hot conditions, with temperatures around 35 degrees Celsius.
The morning low is forecast to be between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is expected to range from 29 to 37 degrees Celsius. The central region will be mostly cloudy, while the southern regions and Jeju Island will see occasional clouds.
Less than 5mm of rain is forecast for northeastern Gyeonggi Province and northern inland Gangwon Province between early morning and morning. Other parts of the Seoul metropolitan area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon may see traces of rain, with less than 0.1mm expected.

Between morning and evening, eastern Gyeonggi, northern Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk may receive 5 to 40mm of showers, while inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon may see 5 to 50mm of showers.
In areas where showers occur, there may be gusty winds, thunder, and lightning, so caution is advised to prevent accidents.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'good' to 'moderate' nationwide. In Ulsan, levels may temporarily reach 'bad' at night.
Waves in the seas off the east, west, and south coasts will range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters. In the outer seas (within about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
