On the 7th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience continued hot weather with a perceived temperature around 35 degrees Celsius under mostly cloudy skies.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the seas south of Japan on this day. Morning lows will range from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to reach between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Waves in the coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea will be relatively calm, reaching up to 0.5 meters. Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels are expected to remain at a 'good' level.

An official from the meteorological administration advised, "In most areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, the maximum perceived temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius, increasing the risk of heat-related illnesses. Please make sure to drink water frequently and refrain from prolonged outdoor work."
