Lotte Open Final Round: 2-Under-Par Victory by One Stroke
First Domestic Tour Win Since 2022 Debut
No Seunghee Takes Second, Choi Hyejin and Kim Hyojoo Tie for 18th
Park Hyejun claimed her first career victory.
On July 6, at Bears Best Cheongna (par 72, 6,684 yards) in Incheon, Park Hyejun reduced her score by two strokes in the final fourth round of the 15th Lotte Open on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, which offered a total prize fund of 1.2 billion won, to secure a one-stroke victory at 17-under-par 271. This marked her first win since debuting on the KLPGA Tour in 2022. The winner's prize was 216 million won.
Park Hyejun started the final round with a one-stroke lead, recording three birdies and one bogey. She solidified her lead with back-to-back birdies on the 4th and 5th holes, then maintained a series of pars over the next 10 holes. Although she lost a stroke after sending both her tee shot and second shot into the rough on the 16th hole (par 4), she secured her victory by adding a birdie on the final 18th hole (par 5).
No Seunghee finished in second place at 16-under-par 272 after adding a 2-under-par round. Lee Dayeon and Bae Sohyun both shot 5-under-par 67 to tie for third at 15-under-par 273. Lee Dongeun and Bang Shinsil tied for fifth at 11-under-par 277, while Choi Hyejin and Kim Hyojoo, who both compete on the LPGA Tour, finished tied for 18th at 8-under-par 280. Lee Gayoung tied for 23rd at 7-under-par 281, and Lee Yewon tied for 48th at 1-under-par 287.
