Magnitude 5.4 Earthquake Strikes Sea South-Southwest of Kagoshima, Japan

The Korea Meteorological Administration, citing foreign observation agencies, reported that a magnitude 5.4 earthquake occurred at 2:07 p.m. on July 6 in the sea 265 kilometers south-southwest of Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.


The epicenter was located at latitude 29.40°N and longitude 129.50°E, with a depth of 20 kilometers.
