Jungjingong Partners with Amazon and Google to Support AI Startups' Global Expansion

Orientation for the 'D.N.A. Track' Technology Education Program
Collaboration with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud to Foster Global AI Talent

The Youth Startup Academy of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (Jungjingong) announced that on July 4, it held an orientation for the 'D.N.A. Track' technology education program, which is operated in collaboration with global companies Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud (GC), at the Korea Standards Association Gasan Digital Center located in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul.

The 'D.N.A. (Data, Network, AI) Track' is a practical, hands-on education program that covers everything from basic to advanced courses in web services, cloud, and deep learning development. The program selects 156 AI and big data technology companies from the 15th cohort of the Youth Startup Academy that are aiming for global expansion, and provides them with approximately seven months of training.

The main components of the program include: ▲ AI Transformation (AX) and deep learning practical training and mentoring ▲ Development of global market entry strategies and specialized workshops ▲ Conferences for exchanges among global developers ▲ Online marketing support, such as assistance with entering the Amazon Marketplace.

In particular, the technology education curriculum focuses on providing field-oriented technical mentoring with experts from Amazon and Google, helping participants resolve technical challenges that arise during global expansion.

Even after the training, Jungjingong plans to continue supporting the growth of participating companies by offering follow-up assistance such as product functionality and design improvement, website creation, promotion, exhibition participation, and alumni networking, as well as linking with other Jungjingong programs including policy funds.

In fact, a startup that completed the program last year and was selected as an outstanding company in the 14th cohort of the Youth Startup Academy received $1,000 worth of Amazon Web Services credits, which helped reduce cloud usage costs. Through its partnership with Amazon, the startup was able to lower development expenses, enhance its service, and achieve the successful recruitment of new, highly skilled developers.

Cho Hangyo, Director of Human Resources Development at Jungjingong, stated, "As technological competition between countries intensifies, we will support promising domestic startups so they can strengthen their competitiveness and secure a leading position in the global AI market." He added, "We will continue to expand collaboration with global corporations to further enhance the global capabilities of young entrepreneurs."
