The Israeli military continued its offensive in the Gaza Strip on July 4 (local time).
According to foreign media reports, the Gaza Civil Defense, which is controlled by Hamas, announced that an Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza killed 15 Palestinian residents on this day.
The Civil Defense stated that seven people, including one child, were killed in a refugee camp near Khan Younis, and eight more, including two children, died in a nearby coastal refugee camp. The previous day, Israeli attacks reportedly killed 73 people across the Gaza Strip.
The United States has proposed a mediation plan to Israel and Hamas, calling for a 60-day ceasefire and the release of 10 surviving hostages and 18 bodies held by Hamas.
The Gaza Health Ministry, operated by Hamas, announced that more than 57,130 Palestinian residents have died since the outbreak of the war in October 2023.
