IBK Industrial Bank announced that it successfully held the 'IBK Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Briefing Session' for promising growth companies seeking to attract foreign direct investment on July 3, 2025, at the IBK Finance Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Approximately 150 executives and employees from domestic companies interested in foreign direct investment attended the briefing session. As foreign investors have recently become more active in the Korean market, the registration for the session closed early due to high demand, demonstrating the significant interest from domestic companies.
Experts from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Invest Seoul introduced the latest trends in foreign investment and various support programs during their lectures. Additionally, a Q&A session was held to address the questions of participating companies.
In particular, comprehensive and practical information was provided on the following topics: the current status of KOTRA's foreign investor discovery and matching programs; Invest Seoul's support programs for legal, tax, accounting, and rental fee assistance and consulting for foreign investors; and IBK Industrial Bank's financial and non-financial services, as well as practical procedures related to foreign direct investment.
An IBK Industrial Bank representative stated, "We hope that this briefing session will strengthen the global investment attraction capabilities of promising technology-driven companies and serve as a stepping stone toward substantial foreign investment inflows." The representative added, "We will continue to make proactive efforts to enhance support for foreign direct investment through ongoing collaboration with relevant organizations."
