On July 4, the Presidential Office announced, "We have confirmed that an employee dispatched from a government ministry exercised their official authority inappropriately through external contacts, and as a disciplinary measure, we have returned the employee to their original ministry."

In a press release issued on the same day, the Presidential Office added, "We have also instructed all employees to ensure that there are no cases of exercising official authority inappropriately."

The Presidential Office stated, "We will respond strictly to any inappropriate exercise of official authority by our staff," and added, "We plan to strictly maintain internal discipline so that employees can perform their duties solely in service of the public."
