The Hongju Culture and Tourism Foundation announced on July 4 that it will hold "Wolsan Shopping Street Pocha Day" (subtitled: Christmas in July) on the 12th at the Wolsan Shopping Street area on Beopwon-ro in Hongseong-eup, Chungnam, with the aim of revitalizing the local commercial district and fostering community unity among residents.

This event is a summer festival with a "Christmas in the Middle of Summer" concept, where local merchants and residents participate together. Visitors can enjoy a variety of foods from Wolsan Shopping Street at street food stalls, as well as a range of attractions and activities including street busking performances, hands-on experience programs, and photo zones.

Main programs include a music car operated by a professional DJ and street busking, a four-cut photo booth, and a "White Christmas" photo zone with artificial snow. The first visitors to arrive will also receive Rudolph headbands as gifts.

Twelve restaurants in Wolsan Shopping Street will participate in the festival, offering unique foods. The event will also feature a Christmas-themed crafting experience by the integrated arts cooperative "KongKongKong," as well as promotional activities by related organizations such as the Sustainable Development Council and Hongseong YMCA.

Choi Geonhwan, CEO of the foundation, said, "We have prepared this event to inject new energy into Wolsan Shopping Street through culture and the arts," adding, "We hope you will come with your family and friends to create joyful memories together."
