On July 4, Chungnam Province held a communication meeting at Sono Belle Cheonan with the heads of its overseas offices from seven countries and trade advisors from four countries.
This meeting was organized to find solutions to the global trade crisis by utilizing the international networks established by Chungnam Province’s overseas offices in India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Germany, Japan, the United States, and China, as well as its overseas trade advisors in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Australia, and Mexico.
During the meeting, participants shared practical opinions based on each country’s local context, including: ▲ analysis of promising export items and markets by region ▲ difficulties faced by companies and their response cases ▲ and successful local marketing strategies.
Taking this meeting as an opportunity, the province plans to fully launch the “Chungnam Export One Team” system, in which the overseas offices and trade advisors from 11 countries will cooperate as a single organization, and to accelerate efforts to enhance the international competitiveness of local companies.
A provincial official stated, “As uncertainty in the trade environment increases due to the reorganization of global supply chains and the spread of protectionism, it is very important to find effective solutions with overseas experts who know the field best. Going forward, we will serve as a strong bridgehead centered on the ‘11-Country Chungnam Export One Team’ so that local companies can confidently enter overseas markets.”
Meanwhile, the province signed export agreements totaling 65.7 million dollars through the “2025 Chungnam Province Overseas Office Buyer Invitation Export Consultation Meeting” held at Sono Belle Cheonan on July 1 and 2.
