Thermochromic Ink Used in Package Design
OB Beer announced on July 4 that its flagship brand Cass will launch a new product, 'Cass Fresh Ice (Cass Fresh ICE)'.
This product, planned as a limited edition for summer, is characterized by delivering an intense cooling sensation. The new release adds a thrilling, ice-cold chill that fills the mouth instantly, on top of the signature refreshing taste of 'Cass Fresh'.
The package design also intuitively highlights the product’s features by using thermochromic ink. When the beer reaches the optimal temperature for the best taste, the 'CASS' logo and the word 'ICE' change to mint color, indicating the ideal drinking moment. Images of ice are applied to the top and bottom of the can to further maximize the visual sense of coolness.
The product will be released in 464ml cans and will be gradually made available through major channels such as convenience stores, large supermarkets, and online starting in July. The alcohol content is 4.5%.
A Cass brand representative stated, "This limited edition beer offers a new sensation, combining Cass's unique refreshing flavor with intense crispness," and added, "We expect it to be a unique choice for consumers during the hot summer."
