Full-scale Launch of the "Dream Package" Starting July 7
Integrated Promotion Including Franchise Fee Support and Discount Coupons
As part of its plan to revitalize Ulsan Pay, including increased summer cashback benefits and expanded issuance volume, the Ulsan city government will launch an integrated promotion in the second half of the year.
This promotion will include intermediary fee support and promotional items for participating franchise stores, as well as discount coupons and additional reward points for consumers. It will be carried out sequentially from July 7 until the end of December.
In particular, the promotion is based on the recently enacted amendments to the "Ulsan Love Gift Certificate Issuance and Operation Ordinance," which is expected to further boost service activation by encouraging new franchise sign-ups and increasing consumer awareness.
First, the city will subsidize the 2% intermediary fee for Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall franchise stores using the municipal budget.
This measure aims to reduce the online platform operating costs for small business owners and encourage more stores to join as franchisees.
Additionally, the first 100 Ulsan Pedal franchise stores to apply will each receive 400 disposable aprons and 400 wet wipes free of charge. This support will be announced through a dedicated program for Ulsan Pedal franchisees, and applications can be submitted via email.
Furthermore, Ulsan Pedal plans to expand its promotional efforts by distributing Baedaltong stickers and promotional leaflets through its partnered delivery agencies.
For consumers, a total of 170 million won worth of "Dream Package" discount coupons will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
From July 7 to August 31, all Ulsan Pay subscribers will be eligible to receive a 7,000 won coupon, and additional coupons will be issued based on purchase records. Details regarding eligibility and validity periods can be found in the Ulsan Pay app notices.
The 5% additional reward points (cashback) event for Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall, which has been ongoing since April 1, will continue until the allocated budget is exhausted. This can be combined with the current discount coupon promotion.
An Ulsan city official stated, "By supporting online franchise stores, we aim to expand the usage and circulation of Ulsan Pay," adding, "We expect these revitalization measures to help increase franchise sign-ups and boost sales."
