On July 4, DB Securities analyzed that SOOP's second quarter performance this year likely met market expectations.

Shin Eunjeong, a researcher at DB Securities, stated, "SOOP is estimated to have recorded sales of 117.3 billion KRW and operating profit of 32.7 billion KRW in the second quarter." She explained, "Compared to the same period last year, sales increased by 15.6%, while operating profit decreased by 1.8%."

She added, "Due to the nature of the second quarter, with more frequent outdoor activities, activity indicators likely did not show significant growth," and "advertising revenue is estimated to have increased by 74.8% year-on-year."

She said, "The volume of game advertisers increased compared to last year, and since April, PlayD's revenue has been reflected on a consolidated basis."

Researcher Shin analyzed, "The number of global simultaneous streaming streamers appears to have remained around 300 since the beginning of the year," and "recently, the company has been targeting regions such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan to expand its overseas streamer base and traffic." She also noted, "In Thailand, the company is expanding e-sports league broadcasts centered on Valorant, and in Taiwan, it is expanding partnerships such as MCN." She expressed expectations for "further expansion into Southeast Asian core countries and additional mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in those regions."
