Heekyung Kim, a senior official, has been appointed as the Director of the Lifelong Education Learning Center, an institution directly affiliated with the Sejong City Office of Education, located in the northern region of Jochiwon-eup, Sejong City.
The newly appointed Director Kim previously served as the Head of the Administrative Support Division at the School Support Headquarters, which was established last year. For one year, she made significant efforts to help the headquarters become established. In the personnel appointment announced on July 1, she was selected as the Director of the Lifelong Education Learning Center.
The Lifelong Education Learning Center is responsible for operating lifelong education programs, promoting reading initiatives, and managing libraries, in order to realize its vision of "Sejong Education Where Everyone Becomes Special" and its educational goal of "Lifelong Learning Open to All."
The center provides citizens with opportunities to broaden their intellectual and cultural horizons by offering a variety of programs aimed at improving quality of life. These include fostering a joyful reading culture that integrates knowledge and life, operating library reading rooms, and organizing courses for self-development.
