Yangju City Holds "3rd Anniversary Meeting with Heads of Social Organizations of the 8th Elected Administration"

Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Yang Suhyun) held the "3rd Anniversary Meeting with Heads of Social Organizations of the 8th Elected Administration" on the afternoon of the 3rd at the Okjeong Lake Library auditorium in the jurisdiction, providing a meaningful opportunity to share the achievements of the city administration over the past three years.

The meeting was attended by more than 80 people, including Mayor Yang Suhyun and the heads of local social organizations. It served as a forum to hear the civil society's evaluation of the 8th elected administration's city management and to explore future visions together.

Prior to the main event, a violin performance by a Yangju City employee, offered as a talent donation, warmly opened the atmosphere of the meeting.

During the main discussion, participants presented a variety of opinions on local issues and policy improvements.

Key suggestions included the need to attract businesses to establish a stable foundation for Yangju City's growth, support for preventing drug and illegal gambling addiction among youth, and the promotion of metropolitan funeral facilities, among other proposals for the city's development.

Mayor Yang Suhyun stated, "All the achievements of Yangju City under the 8th elected administration have been possible thanks to the active cooperation of our citizens and the heads of local social organizations." He added, "For the remaining year, I will do my utmost to complete a leap forward for Yangju together with our citizens."
