On July 3, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) and the Salvation Army (Commander Kim Byungyun) announced that they had signed a business agreement for joint response and coordination of relief resources in the event of a disaster.

According to Hope Bridge, the agreement was established to build a faster and more systematic emergency relief support system at disaster sites by combining the nationwide disaster relief expertise of Hope Bridge with the Salvation Army's strengths in community-based welfare activities and its volunteer network.

The two organizations plan to closely cooperate in various areas, including joint response at emergency relief sites, collaboration in the operation of relief supplies and equipment, recruitment and management of volunteers, joint promotional activities, and strengthening welfare approaches for disaster-vulnerable groups.

Kim Byungyun, Commander of the Salvation Army, stated, "This agreement will serve as an important opportunity to provide faster and more systematic assistance to disaster victims," and added, "I am confident that the experience and expertise of both organizations will create significant synergy."

Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, "If these two organizations, which have been dedicated to relief activities, join forces, the speed and effectiveness of support for disaster victims will be maximized," and continued, "I hope that by leveraging each other's strengths and working together, we can more reliably achieve our shared goal of supporting disaster victims."
