President Lee Jae Myung has announced his intention to seek solutions to the ongoing medical crisis. He also instructed that efforts be accelerated regarding the relocation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and HMM to Busan, as well as the establishment of a Southeast Region Investment Bank.

On July 3, during the 2nd Senior Secretary Meeting presided over by the President at the Yongsan Presidential Office, President Lee stated, "I will try to find possible solutions to the medical crisis, which has been considered the most challenging issue." He added, "I ask that you approach this not from the perspective of individual interests or stakeholders, but with a focus on the public's right to health and what is desirable for the medical system of the Republic of Korea." He further requested, "Please ensure that dialogues with medical organizations are conducted thoroughly, meticulously, and sufficiently."

President Lee continued, "There has been much discussion regarding the relocation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, but balanced national development is a very important task." He said, "I believe many citizens will empathize with the decision to move even a small part of the government to Busan, a region that is more challenging and in greater need. Please proceed as quickly as possible." He emphasized, "I also ask that you expedite the relocation of HMM and the establishment of the Southeast Region Investment Bank."
