Boosting and Promoting Local Tourism
On July 3, Haman County in South Gyeongsang Province signed a business agreement with Haman Post Office in the county governor's office to promote 'Haman as a Tourist City in the World' and to revitalize postal business operations.
The purpose of this agreement is to widely publicize the beauty of the region and to promote interest in stamp collecting culture through the issuance of two commemorative stamps themed on 'Haman 9 Scenic Spots', the county's representative tourist attractions, and the traditional cultural heritage 'Haman Nakhwanori'.

Under the agreement, Haman County will be responsible for providing stamp designs and content, as well as promotion and marketing, while Haman Post Office will handle stamp issuance planning, pre-order sales, and nationwide promotion.
The launch of these 'Haman Tourism Stamps' is expected to serve not only as a postal business initiative but also as an effective promotional tool for publicizing Haman's tourism resources nationwide through the post office network, and as a symbolic content that enhances local residents' pride.
County Governor Cho Geunje stated, "With this agreement, we can now promote the charm of Haman as a tourist city nationwide through the unique medium of stamps," and added, "Through collaboration with the post office, we will create a mutually beneficial model for both the postal business and local tourism."
Meanwhile, the Haman Tourism Stamps are scheduled to be issued and sold in the second half of this year, and will be available for purchase at post offices nationwide and through online channels.
