Promoting Practical Cooperation Including Information Sharing
The Korea Management Innovation Association of SMEs (MainBiz Association) announced on July 3 that it had held discussions over two days, from July 2 to July 3, in Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan, on expanding win-win cooperation and exchanges between Korean and Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
On July 2, the association paid a courtesy visit to Masaki Taira, Minister of Japan's Digital Agency, and exchanged views on "Korea-Japan SME AI and Digital Industry Mutual Cooperation Measures."
At this meeting, both sides agreed to hold regular exchange meetings to promote the development of AI and digital industries among SMEs in both countries, to share information, and to exchange best practices. They also agreed to maintain practical cooperative relationships to support member companies in entering overseas markets and enhancing their competitiveness.

On July 3, the association held the "Korea-Japan SME Mutual Cooperation Meeting" with the National Council of Japan Small Business Entrepreneurs' Associations in Yokohama.
During the meeting, various cooperation measures were discussed, including regular exchange meetings and sector-specific networking between the two organizations, the hosting of trade and investment consultation sessions, and the operation of education and consulting programs to promote joint research and development (R&D).
Chairman Kim Myungjin stated, "Going forward, MainBiz Association will continue to work closely with the National Council of Japan Small Business Entrepreneurs' Associations so that SMEs in both countries can grow together and contribute to the development of the Northeast Asian and global economies."
