Held Every Friday Starting August 22
The Namwon Agricultural Technology Center in North Jeolla Province is recruiting 35 trainees for the second session of the "2025 Basic Agricultural Skills Training for New Farmers" program until July 31.
According to the center on July 3, the training has been organized to introduce new and prospective farmers to Namwon's representative crops and to help them understand basic agricultural techniques.
Participants will learn about Namwon's overall agriculture through theoretical instruction in basic agricultural skills and by studying success stories of return-to-farming and young farmers. The program will run for a total of 10 sessions, with classes held every Friday for four hours each, starting from August 22.
This is the second training session of the year. The main feature of this program is that it systematically teaches the basic agricultural skills that return-to-farming and return-to-village residents, as well as young and new farmers, want to learn. It also provides agricultural information, offering a valuable opportunity to present ways for participants to successfully establish themselves in the agricultural sector.
An official from the Namwon Agricultural Technology Center stated, "Through training for new farmers, we will provide information about Namwon agriculture and settling in Namwon, and we will do our best to help participants become successful farmers in Namwon."
