Integrated Fund Management Service to Launch in September
"Handling Financial Tasks with Natural Language"
On July 3, NH NongHyup Bank announced that it had signed a business agreement with WebCash Group, a leading B2B fintech (finance + technology) company, at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to implement 'Generative AI-based Future Banking Services.' The signing ceremony was attended by Kang Taeyoung, President of NongHyup Bank, and Seok Changgyu, Chairman of WebCash Group, among others.
The two companies will pursue strategic collaboration in various areas, leveraging their expertise in corporate fund management and technological capabilities. This includes jointly developing AI-based digital services for corporate clients, establishing an AI transformation partnership, and conducting joint marketing targeting corporate customers. In September, they plan to launch the 'AI Corporate Integrated Fund Management Service (Hanaro Branch)' equipped with an AI engine, and within the year, they will also begin building an 'AI Corporate Banking' system, aiming to lead the financial sector's AI market.
Currently, corporate accountants must navigate menus on the screen, but in the future, the system will be improved so that users can simply request, for example, "Show me this month's payroll details" via voice or chat, and receive the results through natural language processing.
Kang Taeyoung stated, "We have signed this agreement to provide even more convenient corporate banking services," adding, "NongHyup Bank will strengthen its services based on AI and new technologies to achieve mutual growth with corporate clients and become a leading digital bank."
