Agreement Signed for Next-Generation ERP System to Integrate Business Processes
Sejung INC, the IT-specialized subsidiary of fashion company Sejung Group (CEO Kim Songwoo), has been selected as the partner for the next-generation ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) advancement project of SB Sunbo Co., Ltd., a leading company in shipbuilding equipment.
This project, which officially commenced on July 1, is a core digital transformation initiative aligned with SB Sunbo's organizational integration and global expansion strategy. It is scheduled to run for one year and six months, until December 31 of next year.
Sejung INC, a Busan-based IT company with a 30-year history, provides customized solutions such as ERP, POS, GIS, and disaster prediction systems to various industries. In this project, the company will focus on building a next-generation ERP system that can integrate and manage SB Sunbo’s four affiliates (Sunbo Industry, Sunbo Unitech, Sunbo Hitech, and Sunbo Piece).
The company plans to enhance SB Sunbo’s management efficiency and internal control functions by advancing a real-time data-based management decision-making system. This is expected to give further momentum to SB Sunbo’s mid- to long-term strategy, including its planned listing on the Korea Exchange in 2027.
A representative from Sejung INC stated, “Many manufacturing companies in the Busan region have yet to achieve systematic digital transformation. We expect that this ERP implementation will serve as a turning point for digital innovation in the region’s manufacturing industry.”
In addition to fashion and distribution, Sejung INC is expanding its business areas to semiconductors, shipbuilding, and heavy industry. In particular, the company is continuously discovering industry-specific digital transformation cases based on its experience in building smart city and safety management solutions for local governments and public institutions.
