Addressing Various Questions from Town and District Residents
Joo Kyuil, Mayor of Jinju, announced on July 3 that he held a "Date with Citizens" event at the City Hall Citizens Hall, where he spent time with residents from towns and districts who are usually not easy to meet in person.
The event took place in a pleasant atmosphere and included a lecture by Mayor Joo Kyuil introducing the achievements of the city administration so far, as well as a Q&A session where he answered citizens' questions.
At the beginning of the event, Mayor Joo Kyuil said, "It has been seven years since I took office as Mayor of Jinju, and already three years have passed in the 8th popularly elected term. There have been many challenges, both large and small, but I was able to overcome them thanks to the citizens. I am truly grateful," he expressed his appreciation.
At the end of the event, he added, "Going forward, Jinju City will focus even more on fostering future-oriented industries such as the aerospace industry, strengthening the city's brand, and improving the quality of life for citizens. I ask for your strong support and encouragement so that we can work even harder."
One resident who attended the event said, "The City Hall and the Mayor used to feel somewhat distant, but this event made me feel much closer. Through today's explanations, I learned that Jinju City has developed a lot compared to the past, and I am already looking forward to seeing how it will change in the future."
