Sharing Training Outcomes of the Digital Specialist Teacher Academy and Interim Results of Policy Implementation Research Groups

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Taehee) held the '2025 Digital Specialist Teacher Academy Performance Sharing Presentation' at the Southern Office on July 2.

The event was organized to share the outcomes of the Digital Specialist Teacher Academy training and the interim results of the Policy Implementation Research Groups. More than 500 teachers and educational professionals participated, receiving an enthusiastic response.


The program consisted of two parts: the first part included a special lecture by the superintendent and presentations of the Policy Implementation Research Groups' results, while the second part featured video screenings and exhibition booths.


In his special lecture, Superintendent Lim Taehee presented the role and vision of teachers in the digital era under the theme of 'The Competence of Gyeonggi Teachers Growing as Content Prosumers.'


Following this, five Policy Implementation Research Groups presented their interim results: Gyeonggi Online School, Hi-Learning, Digital Citizenship Education, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Written and Essay-Type Assessment, and Hi-Coaching.


In particular, at the 'Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Written and Essay-Type Assessment' booth, the second part of the event, held in the Hi-First Floor Bookcase area, featured screenings of excellent training content utilizing the Media Wall and operated exhibition booths where teachers could directly experience and participate in the activities.


Opportunities were provided for hands-on practice and experience with features such as AI automatic grading for learning, an OCR engine that converts handwritten text to digital characters, and one-stop assessment operations including design, distribution, grading, feedback, and reporting.


Superintendent Lim Taehee stated, "The greatest challenge currently facing the education field is the deep consideration of how and what kind of children we should educate," and added, "I ask that teachers take pride and play a central role for the happy future of our children."
