On the 3rd, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience mostly clear weather.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the southern seas of Japan on this day. Morning low temperatures will range from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to rise to 31 to 35 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the seas off the west and south coasts will be relatively calm, reaching up to 0.5 meters. The concentration of ultrafine dust is expected to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Infants, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with chronic illnesses are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses, so please take extra care of your health."
