During the meeting, participants discussed ways to establish national policy tasks to implement President Lee Jaemyung's pledge, made at the Memorial Day ceremony held immediately after the launch of the new administration, to "raise the honor of national merit recipients and provide even stronger support."

The National Policy Planning Committee explained that the discussion focused on key initiatives to establish a seamless medical care system for veterans, so that national merit recipients can conveniently and promptly receive medical benefits near their homes.

The National Policy Planning Committee plans to develop national policy tasks to realize a society where "special sacrifices made for all are rewarded with special compensation."
