Nyu to Launch Closed Beta for PC MMORPG 'Bellatores' on July 30

Domestic game company Nyu will begin the closed beta test (CBT) for its PC massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Bellatores' in Korea on July 30.

On July 2, Nyu announced this by releasing a developer interview video for Bellatores on its official YouTube channel. In the video, the developers themselves appeared to explain the game's development goals, world-building, growth system, and combat system. Actual in-game footage was also revealed.

Bellatores is an MMORPG based on a seamless world, adopting a skill-based free growth system instead of traditional leveling. The combat features non-targeting action mechanics, allowing users to customize their combat style through weapon switching, skill combinations, and stamina management.

The CBT schedule for Korean users was also announced. Tester recruitment will begin on July 8, and the CBT will be conducted for five days from July 30 to August 3 via the PC game platform Steam.

In the CBT version, players will be able to play as 2 out of a total of 5 families, and the test will focus on key content such as the combat, growth, and skill systems.

Kim Junghwan, CEO of Nyu, said, "It is significant that a traditional blockbuster MMORPG optimized for the PC platform is conducting a CBT in a market environment centered on mobile. Through this CBT, we aim to review the gameplay experience that Bellatores pursues together with users."
