Park Junhee, mayor of Gwanak-gu in Seoul, held a talk show with residents on July 1 to mark the third anniversary of the 8th popularly elected administration. According to Gwanak-gu on July 2, during the highlight talk show of the anniversary event, titled "Listening to Residents: Gwanak's Today and Tomorrow," held at the main auditorium of the district office, Mayor Park openly shared with residents the various changes and achievements in Gwanak, including venture startups, local businesses, youth, environment, and culture. Residents of various ages, from teenagers to those in their 80s, participated in the talk show.

In response to a question from Shin Taean, president of the Gwanak-gu Park Golf Association, who expressed satisfaction with the creation of the park golf course and offered additional suggestions, Mayor Park said, "A city is a space where people live," and sincerely added, "I will make Gwanak-gu a place where people and nature coexist and where residents can enjoy relaxation and leisure."

On this day, Mayor Park visited various sites that embodied the pledges of the 8th administration, including the launch ceremonies for Gwanak Job Happiness Corporation and the Gwanak Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency. The Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency, the first of its kind established by a Seoul district, is a startup-specialized institution. Through Gwanak S Valley, it aims to further expand the startup ecosystem built during the 7th and 8th administrations and to systematically support business growth.

Mayor Park remarked, "Since the 7th administration, we have been working to transform Gwanak into a startup-friendly city that will become the future growth engine for the district," and added, "The Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency will play a pivotal role in making Gwanak-gu a city that is ideal for startups."

The "Gwanak-type Small Single-Person Household Support Center," which will be established in all 21 neighborhood community centers for the first time in the country, also began operations in conjunction with the third anniversary of the 8th administration. Mayor Park also attended the "Traditional Market Customer Convenience Center Operation Cost Support Agreement Ceremony" and a meeting with merchant associations, expressing gratitude to merchants who continue to work for the development of the local economy despite difficult economic conditions.

Mayor Park said, "From the 7th administration to today, marking the third anniversary of the 8th administration, we have been running tirelessly, and Gwanak has achieved remarkable progress," and added, "For the remainder of my term, I will continue to work hard so that Gwanak-gu can take an even greater leap forward and bring deeper happiness to its residents."
