Shinhan Card Launches "GS All Shinhan Card" with Six Times Higher Point Accumulation Rate

Shinhan Card announced on July 2 that it has launched the "GS All Shinhan Card," a private label credit card (PLCC) developed in partnership with GS Retail, which offers up to six times higher point accumulation rates. This marks the second PLCC product jointly introduced by the two companies.

The card allows users to accumulate up to 12% in points through GS Retail’s integrated membership program, "GS All Point," which boasts 30 million members. This is up to six times higher than the previous card, which offered a 2% accumulation rate.

With the GS All Shinhan Card, users can earn 10% of their spending in points at GS25 when making purchases of 5,000 KRW or more, and 5% in points at GS Shop and GS THE FRESH when spending 10,000 KRW or more. These benefits are available to those whose monthly spending with the card exceeds 400,000 KRW. Users can accumulate up to 10,000 points per day and up to 20,000 points per month.

If the card is registered with GS Pay and used for payments at GS Retail, users can earn an additional 2% in points on their spending, up to a maximum of 5,000 points per month, regardless of their previous month’s spending.

At all other domestic and overseas merchants, excluding GS Retail, users can earn 0.1% of their spending in points with no accumulation limit, provided their monthly spending exceeds 400,000 KRW.

The accumulated GS All Points can be used at both online and offline stores of GS Retail brands, including GS25, GS SHOP, and GS THE FRESH.

To celebrate the launch of the GS All Shinhan Card, the two companies are holding an event throughout this month. Customers who spend a cumulative total of 50,000 KRW or more at GS Retail using the GS All Shinhan Card during the event period will receive 50,000 points. During the same period, customers who pay with the GS All Shinhan Card registered in GS Pay at GS Retail will receive an additional 3% in points on their spending, up to a maximum of 5,000 points per month.

The annual fee is 15,000 KRW for domestic use only and 18,000 KRW for the international (VISA) version.
