First Half-Year Sales Up 40% Year-on-Year

In the first half of this year, one out of every two customers who purchased a Samsung Electronics residential system air conditioner had the unit installed in their actual residence.

According to sales data from Samsung Store released on July 2, the proportion of system air conditioners installed in homes that are currently occupied, rather than in homes that are vacant due to moving or remodeling, increased from 24% of the total in 2023 to 48% last year, and reached 55% in the first half of this year.

Samsung Electronics explained that the increase in installations in occupied homes was due to the impact of its 'One Day Installation Service,' which allows system air conditioners to be installed within a single day.

In response to consumer trends preferring to install system air conditioners?which offer excellent space efficiency and interior design benefits?in every room, Samsung Electronics introduced the 'One Day Installation Service,' enabling installation even in homes that are currently occupied.

Additionally, Samsung Electronics introduced the 'Interior Fit Kit,' allowing easy installation of residential system air conditioners in existing apartments or houses without the need for ceiling work.

Sales of Samsung Electronics residential system air conditioners also increased significantly. Based on Samsung Store data, sales of residential system air conditioners from January to June this year rose by more than 40% compared to the same period last year.

Samsung Electronics has previously launched new residential system air conditioners equipped with innovative AI features, including 'Wind-Free Cooling' for comfortable cooling without direct drafts, 'AI Comfort Mode' that automatically manages temperature, humidity, and air quality by analyzing user patterns and external conditions, and 'AI Absence Energy Saving,' which detects user presence to efficiently reduce energy consumption.
