Signing of Strategic Partnership MOU
Expanding Cooperation in Co-branded Card Launches, Product Sales, and Joint Promotions
Woori Bank announced on July 2 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on July 1 at its headquarters with Samsung Card Co., Ltd. to strengthen their strategic partnership.
The signing ceremony was attended by Woori Bank President Jung Jinwan, Samsung Card CEO Kim Ita, and other key officials from both companies, who agreed to collaborate across various fields to create synergy.
Through this agreement, Woori Bank and Samsung Card plan to expand their cooperation by leveraging each company's financial infrastructure and capabilities. Their collaboration will include the launch of co-branded cards, product sales through both companies' channels, and the enhancement of joint marketing and promotional activities.
A representative from Samsung Card stated, "Through collaboration with Woori Bank, a leader in the financial industry, we plan to introduce differentiated products and services," adding, "We will work to create a successful synergy model."
A representative from Woori Bank commented, "By working together with Samsung Card, a leader in the card industry, we will generate synergy in various areas, including the launch of co-branded cards," and continued, "By combining the strengths of both companies, we will introduce innovative financial services that customers can truly experience."
