"Visit Emart This Weekend"... Watermelon at Half Price, Chicken for 3,480 Won

Emart announced on July 2 that it will hold the "Goraeit Festa Cool Summer Sale" for three days over the weekend, from July 4 to July 6.

This Goraeit Festa will offer even more exceptional benefits, focusing on products with greater perceived price advantages compared to the five previous events held since its launch in January (in January, February, March, May, and June).

The main items include the "Amazing Perfect Chicken," which will be sold for 3,480 won per whole chicken. Emart will offer this Amazing Chicken, made with domestic chilled chicken, at its lowest price since launch. Imported pork belly and pork neck (chilled) will be available for just one day, on July 5, for 890 won per 100g when purchased with an event card. This is less than half the regular price of 1,980 won.

Domestic pork belly and pork neck will be sold for 1,190 won per 100g for three days from July 4 to July 6. This is about 60% cheaper than usual and, except for Samgyeopsal Day, is the lowest price of the year. Expecting strong customer response due to the significant price advantage, Emart has prepared 160 tons, equivalent to three weeks' worth of supply.

Premium pork belly can also be enjoyed at a price lower than the usual price of regular pork belly. Geumhandon (spotted pig) pork belly, known for its rich juices, tender texture, and excellent marbling, will be sold for 1,790 won, while Wooriheukdon (Korean native black pig) pork belly, with superior meat color and flavor, will be sold for 1,890 won.

An Emart representative stated, "If competitors in the offline industry respond with price cuts during the Goraeit Festa period, Emart will also respond aggressively," expressing the company's commitment to unbeatable prices.

Watermelons will also be sold at half price. On July 5 only, Emart will offer the "Farmers Pick Sugar-Selected Watermelon (under 8kg)" at a discounted price of 10,950 won, down from the regular price of 21,900 won. In addition, all "Farmers Pick Sugar-Selected Watermelon" and "Seedless Watermelon" varieties will be available at a 50% discount when Shinsegae Points are used. On July 4, peaches will be discounted, and from July 4 to July 6, "Tyvek Plums (800g)" and "Daeseok Plums (1kg)" will also be available at a 50% discount when Shinsegae Points are used.

Health foods have also been prepared. Emperor abalone, which is more than twice the size of the regular medium size, will be sold at a 50% discount for both king and extra-large sizes, at 4,440 won and 3,640 won per 100g respectively, when Shinsegae Points are used. Prepared Japanese freshwater eel (700g) will also be sold at a 50% discount for 29,900 won. The "Obok Mulhoe (pack)," which consists of domestic seafood such as flatfish, olive flounder, trout, abalone, and sea squirt, can be purchased for 18,980 won, a 7,000 won discount from the regular price of 25,980 won, when paid in full with an event card.

About 50 types of processed foods and over 130 types of daily necessities will also be offered at half price. A bundle of ramen, normally priced in the 8,000 won range, can be purchased for 3,300 won through a mix-and-match promotion. For bagged ramen, customers can choose any three for 9,900 won regardless of the original price. Ice cream bars are available for less than 400 won each through the mix-and-match event.

Carbonated beverages, Pulmuone naengmyeon, CJ naengmyeon, Ottogi jjolmyeon makguksu (each for two servings), shredded and cream cube cheese (excluding No Brand and Peacock), frozen pork cutlets, domestic tofu, shelf-stable coffee (single items), instant soups and stews, and all varieties of gochujang, doenjang, and ssamjang (except some items) will be offered at a 50% discount when two or more are purchased.

Seasonal items are also half price. All sun care products (excluding Green Finger), camping supplies such as shades, tarps, tables, and chairs, and all aqua shoes are 50% off when two or more are purchased. All ice boxes (excluding Alpicool and Cosmos) and all grill pans are 50% off when Shinsegae Points are used.

Traders will also participate in the Goraeit Festa Cool Summer Sale. When paying with a Samsung Card, eight items including "Marinated LA-Style Short Rib BBQ (1.8kg, chilled)" and "Sashimi-Grade Salmon Fillet (pack)" will be discounted. When Shinsegae Points are used, eight items including "Yogurt Milk (85g, 12-pack)" and "Zespri Gold Kiwi (2.1kg)" will be available at discounted prices.
