The 'AI · Green Bio Future Growth City Yeoncheon' event was held to mark the 3rd anniversary of the 8th local administration, aiming to share major achievements and the future vision of Yeoncheon County with its residents. The event also sought to encourage public participation in policy implementation and to realize an administration based on communication and empathy.

As for Yeoncheon’s future vision, the county presented the 'advancement of the green bio industry based on AI' and introduced plans to establish a 'Green Data Center' that will integrate and accumulate agricultural, climate, and ecological data from the border region.
Through this initiative, Yeoncheon County plans to secure sustainable regional development momentum by establishing a data-based foundation for eco-friendly industries in the border area, not only for precision agriculture but also for climate crisis response and ecological tourism.
In particular, the event featured a message tree and a photo zone, providing opportunities for residents to share their support and aspirations for Yeoncheon’s development. As a symbolic gesture marking the start of the shared future vision, a soil-mixing ceremony was held, where village heads and resident autonomy committee chairs from all 10 towns and townships combined soil from their respective areas. This meaningful moment embodied the residents’ wishes for unity and harmony in Yeoncheon’s development.
Kim Deokhyun, Governor of Yeoncheon County, stated, "Over the past three years, we have tirelessly moved forward, communicating with residents and turning Yeoncheon’s potential into reality. Going forward, we will continue to accelerate key projects and strive to create tangible changes that residents can truly experience."
