Mr. A, who runs a cafe in Gangneung, Gangwon, stated on his social media account on June 27, "I had an urgent meeting with the vice president who came from the West Sea and the director who came from Anyang."

On June 24, Mr. A explained that a group of customers arrived by tour bus and requested parking space for two buses. He asked his existing customers for their understanding and cleared the space, but the group used only the parking lot and restroom without purchasing any coffee before leaving. He also mentioned that the tour bus had the name of a university from Gyeonggi Province written on it.

Mr. A said, "From the very first phone call, they expressed unconditional regret, which was a great comfort to my hurt feelings. Since they had almost arrived in Gangneung, I couldn't let them make the trip for nothing. My wife, whose wounds had not yet healed, found it difficult to meet them, so she graciously agreed to stay at the store while I met them alone at a nearby cafe."

He continued, "The president wanted to visit, but due to the urgency of the schedule, it was impossible, so the vice president came instead. They explained in detail why the apology was delayed, which helped me understand the situation."

He added, "Both of them, just as they had during our first call, consistently acknowledged their fault and offered their apologies regardless of the reason. They even prepared compensation for the incident and repeatedly offered it to me, but I declined, saying that accepting compensation would make me feel more uncomfortable. They respected my opinion, saying they did not want to cause us any further discomfort after already inconveniencing us."

He also said, "I believe any lingering resentment between us has been resolved. I sincerely want to thank everyone who supported and encouraged me during this incident."
